Registered Nurse – Full Time

Pinaroo Roma Inc. is a not-for-profit Aged Care Facility situated in Roma, Queensland. We are currently a 71 bed facility and we are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a Full Time Basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

We ensure that our care encompasses the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of each resident, ensuring that everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Essential Criteria

• Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Registered Nurses with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply
• Flexible outlook towards working shifts and availability to work morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to pass a current national police clearance
• Residency and permission to work in Australia – Sponsorship may be available for the successful applicant
• Clinical skills and knowledge in the completion of clinical documentation
• An ability to inspire staff around you and possession of leadership qualities
• Knowledge of accreditation is desirable and would be an advantage
• You will be required to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and deliver care for residents.
• A genuine passion for helping and caring for others
• You must be a team player and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and professionally
• A capacity to manage a diverse and demanding workload
• Previous Experience in Aged Care is desirable, but not essential

Remuneration as per Nurses Award 2010 ranging between $65,000 - $92,000.00 per annum with allowances plus superannuation. Depending on skills, knowledge and experience.
