We are seeking passionate GraduateRegistered Nurse to join the team at Bethanie Fields Aged Care Home located in Eaton, Bunbury on a permanent part time basis. Bethanie Fields is a 160 bed facility designed specifically to provide support for people who need 24 hour care, including those with special care needs and dementia.
This is a hands-on role, in which the Graduate RN will learn to lead and develop the team to ensure they deliver high quality care to all clients. This role requires an individual who is both dynamic & flexible and will be committed to developing their skills in Demetia and Palliative Care to provide strong leadership to the clinical staff.
This role is being offered on a Permanent Part-Time basis, working a mininmum of 30 hours per week!
The successful applicant will be available to work a range of morning, afternoon and night duty shifts and be available for weekend work when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, while providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
- Complete assessments and / or admission requirements
- Ensure care plan changes reflect any change of a resident's condition
- Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff
- Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
- Provide coaching/mentoring/training to staff along where required
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant clinical experience in an aged care or hospital environment
- Knowledge of and experience with ACFI documentation
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills, with confidence to use Microsoft Office packages and clinical information systems
- Clinical report writing skills
- A current police clearance or willingness to get one
- Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required
