The Role
We are currently searching for a highly energetic Front Office Manager to lead the pre-opening team of The Capitol Hotel Sydney, which is due to open in November 2022. The Front Office Manager will ensure the smooth operation of all things Front of House, Guest Relations, Night Audit & House-Keeping, whilst consistently working towards exemplary guest reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the hotel Front Office operation, role modelling exemplary standards of guest service and providing the team with a clear direction and setting appropriate standards of behaviour
- Regular liaison with reservations, maintenance and housekeeping departments ensuring all requests are completed quickly, focusing on guest needs as a priority
- Motivate and empower the team; providing team members with development opportunities and coaching; recruiting team members of a high calibre.
- Preparation of Front Office monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators.
- Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedback
Skills & Experience
- Previous hotel management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication with key stakeholders
- Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential
- Sound time management and problem-solving skills essential
- Advanced PMS experience desirable
