About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide contemporary evidence based consumer/patient focused care. in collaboration with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate optimal health outcomes for the recipients of healthcare services and undertake delegated activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Apply clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
  • Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
  • Consult with others in delegation activities, and contribution to effective clinical care outcomes and the maintenance of a safe of environment.
  • Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups
  • Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
