Role Overview
As an RN at Kalyra, you will be available to work night shifts, and your primary responsibility will be to deliver clinical and personal care to residents, maintaining and enhancing their quality of life. This involves adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines while administering medication, conducting wound care, and supervising Enrolled Nurses. You'll also liaise with resident stakeholders, including family members and health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care planning and effective communication.
Your role extends to implementing and maintaining resident care plans, conducting assessment activities, and monitoring care worker practice to ensure consistent service delivery focused on wellness and person-centered care.

About the Person
The ideal candidate will be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight and will demonstrate proficiency and confidence in clinical care, along with genuine empathy and understanding towards our residents.. Additionally, they should be dedicated to collaborating seamlessly within a larger team committed to delivering a high standard of person-centered care.
Apart from this, we ask that you have the following:
- Must be willing to travel to Woodcroft
- Availability to work night shifts
- AHPRA Registration
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A committed approach to person-centred care and compliance standards
- Reliable vehicle and current drivers license
- Smartphone to access the mobile worker app
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- First Aid Certificate
- 3 x covid vaccinations
- Influenza 2024 vaccination
