About the role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. Simpson Unit is a dynamic and fast paced unit providing post operative care to adults and children. The successful applicant will be very well supported by a small, cohesive team. This is a permanent part-time role at Calvary St John's Hospital, so come join our wonderful team here at Calvary!
What you bring
- AHPRA Registration
- Willingness to expand your knowledge base and provide care across a broad range of specialties.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience on a surgical unit
- Paediatric experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
