Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Mount Hospital is looking to employ experienced Registered Nurses for our Scrub Scout team.
Key functions include:
- Established and maintained positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Provide exceptional customer service and person centred and evidence-based care
- Provide supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates and students and AINs/PSAs
- Worked as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team, managed own worktime and personal well being
- Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Involved in clinical and compliance auditing
About You
You will hold as minimum of 3 years' full time Scrub Scout experience in cardiothoracic and neurosurgery. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have thorough understanding of patient care in private hospital setting.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have AHPRA registration (essential)
- Previous experience with Cardio Thoracic/ Neurosurgery (Essential)
- Have relevant post-graduate qualifications (desirable)
- Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the perioperative complex.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated to daily activities
