Registered Nurse - Surgical 

Part Time (0.8 FTE with further FTE available)

The Surgical Ward (Ward 6) at Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is a 16-bed unit for adult surgical patients.

Ward 6 is supported by a Dedicated Nurse Educator and Clinical Support Nurses. 

About the Role:

This position is ongoing, part time 0.8 FTE or above. 

The Surgical Ward is a dynamic team environment aimed at providing the highest quality of care for all. We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is ready to join a vibrant community and work collaboratively with other team members, so that together our hospital is able to provide exceptional care for our prime focus, the patient.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Relevant nursing experience
