We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse in Toowoomba with a reputable provider in Queensland.
Overview
- Large facility
- Supported by a very experienced Facility Manager, Clinical Nurse, Clinical Manager and Compliance Coordinator
- Permanent, Part Time or Full time
- Mix of all shifts, with the option to choose your own shifts
- $39-$50ph depending on experience
- Initial accommodation supplied for those relocating
- Accepting new grads and experienced Registered Nurses
Responsibilities
- Being responsible for ensuring high quality care is delivered to residents
- Supervising and assisting other care employees
- Building and fostering partnerships with each resident, respecting and ensuring their dignity, and focusing on their health and wellbeing.
- Working within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care.
- Providing complex clinical care including but not limited to: wound dressing; administration of medications; condition assessments and referrals.
- Evaluating and maintaining care plans to meet changing needs of residents
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management
Requirements
- AHPRA Registration
- Aged Care experience highly desirable but open to RN's from all industries
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
- Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation and will be highly regarded
- An enthusiastic and empathetic approach
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination
- Current police check or willing to obtain
- Must have full Australian working rights - no sponsorship opportunities on offer
