Flinders Medical Centre Perioperative Nursing Services are looking for a dedicated and skilled nurse to join their team!
The division of Medicine Cardiac and Critical Care is one of 6 clinical divisions within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.
About the Role:
4GNS specialises in providing acute care to a variety of Stroke and Neurology patients including, but not limited to, Acute Strokes requiring thrombolytic therapies, epilepsy (including EEG monitoring), MND, MS and tracheostomies.
The Registered Nurse will report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager and will provide nursing services across a variety of health care settings. As the Registered Nurse, some of your duties may include:
- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
- Support nursing practice and learning experiences for students undertaking clinical placements, orientation for new staff and preceptorship of graduates.
About you:
- Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Previous experience in Neurology/Stroke Nursing.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in quality improvement program.
