He/she will be providing evidenced based care, developing clinical skills while keeping up to date with professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies and be required to work with children, youth, women and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds. The ability to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately essential.
The applicants will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. They must have a demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. In addition to the annual salary package, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
