Hobart Day Surgery situated in Hobart TAS is part of the Nexus Hospitals group. Nexus employs over 1600 talented and passionate people across 27 hospitals, as well as 3 support offices.
Hobart Day Surgery is a purpose-built, multidisciplinary day surgery with excellent facilities, specialising in Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dental, Oral and Psychiatry. Our hospital combines specialised surgical services, excellent facilities and a team of highly-skilled professionals that care for our patients.
About the Role:
Due to an expansion in services, wonderful opportunities are currently available at Hobart Day Surgery for experienced Anaesthetic and PACU nurses looking to grow their career in a friendly supportive environment.
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs. Imperative to your success in this role will be delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.
The days/hours are flexible and we are looking to offer Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time and Casual contracts to the right candidates.
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in a comparable role within Theatre / Perioperative setting
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Experience in the above specialties highly desirable.
- Paediatric experience desirable
- Working with Children Check
