About the Role

The team at Strathfield Private Hospital are searching for experienced Nurses to join our supportive team, providing our patients with specialised and dedicated care. In this role, you will be working across the Day Surgery Unit and the pre-admission clinic.

The hospital’s Day Surgery Unit offers elective surgery or diagnostic procedures in a modern and comfortable setting with a private, peaceful recovery area where patients can recuperate under the care of trained nursing staff. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised individual with excellent communications skills. This position requires someone with flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of acute surgical or DSU experience
• Previous experience in endoscopy highly regarded or willingness to be trained in the specialty area
• Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
