About the Role
Eastern health fosters a culture of life-long learning and is now recruiting 2024 Mid-Year Post Graduate students (July intake) for applicants wishing to gain further qualifications in Emergency or Intensive Care Nursing. During your Post Graduate studies, you will be provided with education and supervision in the clinical area by experienced members of the Learning and Teaching team who are focused on your individual professional development and career aspirations. You will also have access to a team of committed interdisciplinary clinical experts to support and guide your learning throughout the program.
We are currently offering clinical learner positions within the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care (ICU).
Opportunities within a number of these specialties may be available at one or more of Eastern Health's three acute sites.
EMERGENCY (ED)
Site: Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital or Angliss Hospital
Affiliation: Monash University
INTENSIVE CARE (ICU)
Site: Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Angliss Hospital (Angliss program includes rotations to other EH ICU's)
Affiliation: Monash University

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia RN Registration with AHPRA
- Recent acute clinical experience (greater than 1 year post registration experience preferably having undertaken a Graduate Program)
- Motivated and self-directed learner who is receptive to feedback
- Well-developed communication skills
- Patient-centred practice
- Passion for clinical excellence
