- Ensure clients receive culturally appropriate services, the use of interpreters and commitment to cultural education and communication
- Ensure records are maintained through accurate data collection, appropriate recording and file keeping
- Ensure the highest quality services is provided through continuing professional development, participation in clinical and cultural supervision
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for people
- Relate to people in a manner which is culturally relevant and appropriate to their developmental and cognitive level of functioning and provide services in a friendly manner
- Tertiary degree (or equivalent qualification) in Psychology
- Current unconditional registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Eligible for Medicare Provider Number
- Public Liability Insurance/ Practising Insurance
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong capability to work independently and as a valued team member
- Current Ochre Card and Criminal History Check
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
