Flinders Medical Centre ICCU is a leading 32-bed tertiary ICU in Adelaide, South Australia, offering highly specialised care to critically ill patients, including pregnant women, liver transplant cases, trauma patients, and complex cardiac surgical support, with over 2000 annual admissions.
About the Role:
There are multiple positions available, with two possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience. Key duties include:
- Support Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in management, clinical, and educational activities.
- Coordinate services and resolve local nursing care issues.
- Participate in clinical teaching and research.
- Promote patient/client safety and continuity of care.
- Provide leadership and support within the team.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities.
- Offer health education and support less experienced staff.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or be eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Please see the attached Role Descriptions for additional information.
