Your opportunity: To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients. To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients. The appointment will be to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service for the provision of services to Bundaberg Hospital. A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner. Temporary Part Time (16 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 2nd February 2025 with the possibility of extension. Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough). From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $35,869 p.a., comprising salary between $63.45 - $73.56 p.h., (L4-L9), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and vocational training subsidy.
