About the Role

12-month fixed-term opportunity available to support the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure strong relationships with icare's regulators, through extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement.

This role reports to the Head of Regulatory Affairs and plays a key part in building strong relationships across icare service lines with the objective of promoting and supporting a robust regulatory engagement framework, achieving business outcomes and supporting team deliverables.

Duties

It's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same and this role will encompass a wide range of activities; the key areas of responsibility will entrust you to:

  • Develop an informed understanding of business objectives, operations and processes across icare and liaise with internal stakeholders through effective communication to ensure the delivery of collaborative and supportive outcomes.
  • Protect icare's brand when engaging with stakeholders and deliver consistent information in high pressure situations.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Regulatory Affairs strategy, provide advice, assistance and leadership.
  • Facilitate and guide communication and engagement across the relevant regulatory bodies to the applicable sources of experience within icare, to promote accurate information sharing to drive a relationship of trust and transparency.
  • Manage complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the matters are effectively addressed.
  • Act as the conduit for identifying, escalating, and mitigating areas of regulatory risk and the alibility to anticipate regulatory challenges based on the organisation's strategy and risk appetite.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and experience in a similar Regulatory Affairs, legal/policy or stakeholder management role.
  • Ideal candidate has had experience dealing with regulatory bodies and/or complex stakeholder groups.
  • High level of organisational skills with ability to deliver high volumes of output in tight timeframes and provide an efficient service to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to positively engage with, influence and effectively negotiate outcomes with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilient, thrive in a fast-paced working environment, collaborative approach and results-focused.
