Job description

The Role:Reporting to the Bank Regulatory Compliance Manager the Regulatory Change Advisor is responsible for supporting the implementation of Regulatory Change initiatives across the Bank. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, conducting impact assessments, developing and executing change plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.What you'll do:
  • Monitor and analyse regulatory developments and changes that affect the Bank's operations and products.
  • Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to identify the implications and risks of Regulatory Change.
  • Develop and implement change plans and solutions to address Regulatory Change requirements and mitigate risks.
  • Provide advice and guidance to business units and functions on Regulatory Change matters and best practices.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Regulatory Change environment as it impacts on the Bank.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and industry bodies, on Regulatory Change issues and initiatives.
  • Track and report on the progress and outcomes of Regulatory Change projects and activities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of regulatory policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Regulatory Change framework
What you'll bring
  • A bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or a related
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Facilitate the development of innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Regulatory Change, compliance, risk management, or a similar role in the banking or financial services industry
  • Ability to develop robust solutions and structures aligned to key risk, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to recognise, understand and support need for change and anticipate impacts of Regulatory Changes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including co-ordination of key programs of work or projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of market and external environment including banking and financial industry principles and regulations.
