As a Rehabilitation Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
- Educating workers and employers about the health benefits of good work and how to prevent and manage injury and disability in the workplace.
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
- Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
- Identifying and addressing physical, psychological and/or workplace barriers that may affect a worker's recovery and return to work.
- Completing a variety of assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities.

- A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work.
- Have previously worked with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Be Comcare trained along with mental health first aid certificate, police clearance check and working with children check.
- Well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience consulting with workers, Insurers, medical practitioners, case managers and employers.
- A drive to achieve high-impact outcomes in people's lives.
- Dedication to your own personal development.
- Current registration with AHPRA and relevant professional bodies.
- A current drivers' licence and willing to travel.
