Lighthouse Christian School is seeking applications for relief/casual Grounds Staff. This role will be ongoing and may include work during school holiday periods.
As the Schools Grounds and Facilities Officer (Relief/Casual), you will support the efficient and effective management of indoor and outdoor spaces by ensuring their best presentation, safety, timely maintenance, and longevity.
You will ensure spaces are set for events and meet the needs of the school, its staff, students and their families.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience Essential to The Role
- A formal trade or technical qualification
- Minimum 3 years full time equivalent experience in a similar fast paced environment
- Sound knowledge and compliance with regulations, codes and specifications relevant to the role.
- Capability to perform activities consistent with workplace, health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- A skillset that enables the role to undertake required procedures without intensive supervision.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks/projects, scheduling, reporting and delivery within agreed timeframes
- Blue Card (or a willingness to achieve one)

This role is a physical role which requires staff to be able to complete lifting, furniture removal gardening and handyman tasks, daily.
You may regularly be asked to undertake general tasks not listed in this document.
