We are currently seeking a people loving person with a passion for the regions to join our dynamic team at the Port Fairy and Region Visitor Information Centre. The successful applicant will need to have great communication skills and a love for sharing their knowledge of our beautiful shire.
To be successful in this role you will needQualifications
Essential
- Current Victorian driver licence
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willing to obtain)
Qualification in Tourism
ExperienceDesirable
Experience working in the tourism and/or retail sector will be highly regarded.
Key selection criteria 1Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to assist customers with clear advice and accurate information, including customers from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and age.
Proven time management skills and ability to plan own work to meet set timelines.
Key selection criteria 3Proficient computer skills to support administration programs with experience with software including EFTPOS, booking systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
