Remedial Therapist/Myotherapist

Oedema Institute is a state-of-the-art allied health and specialist treatment centre located in Clayton, Victoria. Having recently opened in March 2021 and backed by the internationally renowned, SIGVARIS GROUP, we seek to improve access to best practice treatment for people with health conditions and injuries including musculoskeletal, neurological, lymphoedema and oedema associated with vascular conditions. As an underserviced area in Australia, we are looking to make an impact on healthcare and we want you to be a part of it. 

We are seeking a REMEDIAL THERAPIST OR MYOTHERAPIST, to join the team in 2024. 

The clinic is part of a substantial medical centre which in turn is part of a large shopping/residential/entertainment/office development, and prominent in the Monash (Melbourne, Victoria) high tech, education, and health precinct.

We have Permanent Full-Time or Permanent Part-time positions available, consisting of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. 

The Role:

The clinical duties of this role includes:

• Delivery of remedial and/or myotherapy services, programs, and products to clients
• Sound clinical knowledge in a variety of conditions in musculoskeletal, neurological and vascular conditions. Experience in lymphoedema massage is an advantage. 
• Experience in educating patients, carers, and health care team members.
• Experience independent clinical problem-solving.
• Able to work with physiotherapists and osteopaths within the team

Qualifications, registrations & experience

• Current registration with governing body
• Current Drivers Licence
• Able to get provider numbers with insurance companies for claiming
