Ray White North Lakes is seeking an experienced Rental Department Manager to head our dynamic Property Management Team. The role is closely supported by our Directors working collaboratively to create a strong, supportive and cohesive culture, and we pride ourselves on providing a respectful, friendly, inspiring (and fun!) workplace.
Our Rental Department Manager is responsible for leading and managing our Property Management Division and is accountable for the efficient operation of our team and all properties under management.
This includes overseeing:
- Property Managers
- Property Management Assistants
- BDM and BDM Associate
- Leasing Consultants
- Reception/Administration
Job Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and assist in the growth of our Property Management division
- Offer strong leadership and lead by example to our Property Management team
- Organise and prepare 1:1 meetings with staff
- Management of in-house and corporate reporting
- Performance management of staff
- The ability to mentor and motivate a team
- Conflict resolution
- Lead weekly Property Management meetings
- Conduct/attend regular training with our team
- Be involved with recruitment and onboarding for new team members
- Build and maintain strong relationship with our clients
- Procedure updates and creation of templates
- Listing and advertising of properties
- Representing and supporting our Property Managers and Landlords at tribunal
- Assist in providing a nurturing and happy work environment for the team, and continue efforts to cultivate a great team ethos and culture
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Property Management as a Head of Department/Rental Department Manager
- Excellent computer skills and high attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Strong knowledge in our Real Estate Market, regulations, Queensland legislation and trends
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service to clients including owners, tenants and contractors
- Experienced in QCAT
- Real Estate Registration essential
- Ailo experience is preferred but not essential
