About your new Role

As the Reporting and Data analyst within VGA you will be responsible for improving and steering our sales Reporting and dashboards by working with relevant stakeholders. The role will support the analysis of market changes, segments development and identify the needs for VGA as a group and to provide support to the different projects. This role is a 24 month contract reporting to the Head of strategy and special projects as well as working closely with the IT Manager - Projects and Digital and be based in our incredible Zetland Head office 3 days per week with 2 from home.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Lead the Sales Steering for VGA in long term perspective in cooperation with the brands.

· The development of Data visualisations including dashboards, reports and charts using multiple tools

· Leading innovative solutions that automate data, analytics and insights.

· Understanding & ensuring the documentation of business processes, data sources and structures are correct up to date and accurate.

· Implement data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting

· Other Ad-hoc duties as required across supporting the Projects teams effectively

About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

· Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Data Science/Engineering/ Statistics and Mathematics or similar academic qualification preferred

· Extensive experience working within sales/data/reporting or a similar role within automotive preferred

· Experience in data collection, identifying data sources, organising data in usable formats, and setting up data infrastructure and or models.

· Advanced working experience with Business Intelligence tools and MS Office especially excel

· Good presentation and problem-solving abilities using quantitative and qualitative data.

· Ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand.

· Professionalism and ability to handle multiple priorities, demonstrating sound judgment.
