Key Responsibilities:
To work within the Research team to provide timely information flow to the Australian property industry through reports.
- Work with National Research Manager to prepare strategic plans for the team comprising of new and improved products, and their launch/marketing campaigns.
- Main point of contact for Property Council research requests.
- Liaise with data compilers to ensure efficient and timely flow of information.
- Maintain research databases.
- Assist the National Research Manager in preparing marketing strategies and promotional material to improve the market penetration and utilisation of the Property Council’s research products and services.
- Assist the National Research Manager to identify and develop new products and services to meet the changing needs of the marketplace.
- Present National Research Manager new opportunities for licensing or partnerships/collaborations.
- Improve and adapt OMR, SCD and SCO databases maintaining internal and external relevance.
- Assist with secretariat of various research committees and working parties.
- Identify and implement ways to ensure effective flow of information between the Research team and its customers – our customers being Members and Divisions.
- Oversee the day-to-day work of the Information Analysts.
The ideal candidate:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong leadership capability, evidenced in well-developed people management skills, problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with an open mind, proactively identifying issues and improvement opportunities.
- Prior knowledge of business, finance and/or property.
- Tertiary qualifications in property economics, commerce, or business.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar roles.
