Detailed Description
About the role
We are recruiting for a Research Assoicate / Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to in Database, mainly GPU-accelerated graph processing and analytics.
You will also participate in professional development, teaching and learning activities.
This role requires you to conduct research and producehigh-quality publications, as well as supervising HDR students
Whilst participating in research activities, you will also be involved in writing and preparing grant applications and forging relationships with industry and institutions.
About you
As a Research Assoicate / Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. To be successful in this role you will take responsibility for initiating and delivering Research in relation to the research project activities, using your strong research and analytical skills. You will have demonstrated experience in Database and GPU Programming and be familiar with graph processing and analytics. Other requirements will include:

  • PhD in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Proven publication record.
  • Ability to develop competitive grant proposals or industry links and projects
  • Mentor PhD students

Remuneration/Salary
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $88,273 to $107,511 (Level A)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
This position is full-time and an appointment will be made on a 12 month fixed-term basis.
