The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team as a Research Fellow with the Future Building Initiative, collaborating on cutting-edge projects with Building 4.0 CRC. In this role, you'll conduct Environmental Performance assessment research, managing and coordinating applied projects in direct partnership with industry and research organisations.
As a Research Fellow, you'll contribute to conference papers and publications, engage in professional activities, conduct advanced research procedures, and may occasionally contribute to teaching.
Your role will encompass project management, coordination, and funding applications, demonstrating your expertise in Environmental Performance assessment and the ability to conduct advanced research procedures.
About You
With excellent organisational skills and a collaborative spirit, you'll play a vital role in advancing our research initiatives. To excel in this position, you must showcase skills in Environmental Performance assessment, including Life Cycle Assessment and/or Building Energy Simulation.
Data Science and/or Python programming skills are not essential but is desirable. A track record of refereed research publications, analytical and manuscript preparation skills, and the ability to solve complex problems using discretion, innovation, and expertise are essential.
You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear, succinct reports and documents. Your awareness of confidentiality, privacy, and information handling principles, along with a capacity to work collegiately with other staff, will make you a valuable addition to our research team.
