Salary: Level B - $114,645 - $136,136 p.a. plus 17% super
- Play a pivotal role in the planning and management of all aspects of first flagship studies within the Contemplative Studies Centre's flagship projects.

The Research Fellow will take a lead role in developing a comprehensive management plan for the Centre's first flagship project, guiding its trajectory from the preliminary phase through the main phase to results and outcomes. This includes day-to-day management of research studies, ethical considerations, recruitment, and data analysis. The Fellow will actively contribute to project communication, disseminating research through publications, presentations, and engagement with stakeholders, while also supporting other studies within the program and undertaking administrative tasks as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development of a comprehensive project management plan for the first flagship project, including resource planning.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of research studies within the first flagship project, covering ethical considerations, recruitment, data collection, and quantitative data analysis.
- Actively contribute to project communication, including drafting manuscripts for publication, creating plain language summaries, and presenting research progress and outcomes at conferences and to stakeholder groups.
- Provide leadership within project team meetings, planning related activities, and promoting CSC and University values, including diversity and inclusion.
You have strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, enabling you to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You demonstrate excellent organisational skills, time management, and effective verbal and written communication.
You will also have:
- PhD in behavioural, social or health sciences, or a related discipline.
- Advanced statistics knowledge, including linear mixed effects models, structural equation modelling, power analysis, etc.
- Experience managing randomised controlled trials in either clinical or community settings; experience working with intensive longitudinal data.
- Experience configuring databases and facilitating collection of quantitative data (esp. via Qualtrics or RedCap) and wrangling and analysing quantitative data.
