This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to contribute to groundbreaking research in paediatric oncofertility care. Working closely with the Associate Professor Jayasinghe and the ANZCO team, you will play a pivotal role in developing national guidelines, utilising your clinical research expertise and fostering collaboration within the ANZCO Clinical Trial Network. Join our dynamic team at The Royal Women's Hospital and University of Melbourne, where you'll have the chance to make a tangible impact on improving connectivity and care for young cancer patients across Australia and New Zealand.Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting international literature reviews of clinical questions and liaising with working groups and assisting with evidence tables.
- Coordinating projects, organising meetings and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
- Assisting with administrative duties and maintaining efficient systems.
You possess exceptional communication skills, adept at interacting with diverse stakeholders in the health and university sectors. Your strong organisational abilities and attention to detail ensure successful project delivery amid competing demands and deadlines.You will also have:
- A degree, preferably in health sciences, biomedicine or related fields with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting systematic literature reviews, including relevant databases and software (Medline, PubMed, Endnote and Covidence).
- Previous experience in clinical research work and in research administration and support as well as an understanding of the principles and methods of research, in particular adhering to study protocols and skills in sensitivity, discretion and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in data entry and maintaining systems for compilation and storage of data, including knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements
