The Facility
The facility is a 650-bed tertiary teaching hospital in Canberra providing care to more than 500,000 people through a range of services that include acute inpatient, outpatient, women's and children's services, mental health and many more. This is a tertiary teaching facility where you will have opportunity to take up training positions.
The Position
The RMO role offers a wide range of experience in Gen Medicine, Surgery, and ED with exposure to the subspecialties including Cardiology, Renal, Haematology, Oncology, Geriatrics, vascular surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, and Orthopaedics. This is a great opportunity to work in a varied, interesting, and challenging role in a well-supported teaching hospital.
Selection Criteria
- Current General Registration with AHPRA OR
- Current provisional registration via Competent Authority Pathway
- PGY 2+ / FY1+
- UK / Irish medical graduates or Drs with GMC registration and minimum 12 months UK experience
