Position Purpose
You will play an important part in providing services and improving the village's image and reputation by utilising your exceptional customer service and high-level administrative skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute professional (preferably with a background in aged care) to be part of a rapidly growing organisation, where your day-to-day activities will play a key role in the future success of the village by providing a resident-focused experience.
Position Accountabilities
  • Assist with the assessment, review, and delivery of suitable and flexible services for our residents. Maintain all Resident Services lifestyle activities and wellbeing checks, reporting monthly
  • Coordinate Lifestyle and Activities Program with assistance from the Resident Services Manager
  • Complete appropriate administration duties, including the collation and editing of the Village newsletter, ongoing updating of resident communications, and the upkeep of carpark allocations and signage
  • Support the Reception Concierge team as required
  • Support the resident move-in process to ensure the apartment(s) are ready for new admissions
  • Coordinate Resident onboarding using the current move-in processes
  • Take pride in orienting new residents into the village, connecting them to social programs and checking in on them to ensure overall wellbeing
  • Ensure all service delivery to our residents and their families is of a high standard
  • Assist the village GM and other staff and residents in the village as requested.
  • Respond to all staff and resident enquiries over the phone, by email and in person as needed and appropriate
  • Support the hospitality team with event coordination, ensuring a positive resident experience.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications/Certificates
  • Experience in Hospitality and Events management is desirable
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Driver's License
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in office support and administration
  • Experience coordinating and evaluating group and individual programs
  • Competent documentation and computer skills
  • Experience in handling confidential material
  • Competent in using word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software
Competencies
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with and establish effective professional relationships with internal and external clients and residents from a range of backgrounds and cultures
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to be flexible as part of a busy, hands-on team
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A genuine passion in making a difference in the lives of the elderly
  • An approachable and caring demeanour
