The Opportunity

Treeview Estates is the premier Retirement Village in the Blue Mountains and Central West. Located in South Bowenfels, close to Lithgow and 2 hours from Sydney, Treeview has over 200 residents living in 145 villas set in landscaped gardens.  We offer flexible work arrangements and a positive and dynamic work environment.  We are seeking an experienced hands on customer service professional who is comfortable being the first point of contact in our busy on site office.

The Role

This important front office role is the primary liaison between residents and village operations and will be the main contact for coordinating maintenance requests, social activities, events organisation, resident welfare and, day to day management.

You will use your amenable personality, love of people and, problem solving abilities to help make everyday life easy for our close knit community by quickly and efficiently managing service requests, supporting resident issues and, organising activities and events for the village community.

The Person

As the key point of contact between residents and operations you will be a people focussed and highly organised person.  You will be equally comfortable helping solve everyday problems for residents as well as planning and organising activities and events at our in-house leisure centre.  You will be capable of prioritising and multitasking when needed.  You must also be able to communicate in a professional and positive manner with our residents and the Treeview team.

Your qualifications and experience will include:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, administration or hospitality
  • Advanced MS Office applications proficiency, including Word & Excel
  • Relevant TAFE or University qualifications in customer service or administration are desirable
  • Current Australian driver license
  • Current First Aid certification

You will also have proven written and spoken communication abilities, superior customer service skills, attention to detail and, a flexible approach to working with seniors.

Ideally you will also be highly motivated, empathetic, and be comfortable in a front of house workplace where there are constant interruptions.

What you will do:

  • Ensure an open channel of communication with all residents and their respective families
  • Manage and coordinate use of Lifestyle Centre
  • Manage Village Office & Lifestyle Centre consumables
  • Enter new resident and existing resident information and changes into relevant systems
  • Carry out annual Personal Information, Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) and Emergency Contact update process
  • Maintain resident contact list and SMS database
  • Filing of resident and contractor forms
  • Distribute resident email communications and printed notices and newsletters
  • Manage the use of and drive the village bus when needed
  • Manage the maintenance register

Provide other services to residents as needed at the discretion of the Operations Manager
