The ideal candidate for this role provides professional management, support and assistance to the residents of a Residential Program for women, in compliance with agency objectives and legislative requirements.
The purpose of the Residential Centre Co-Ordinator is to provide professional oversight and leadership to a team of staff who deliver service provision and programs to residents who present with complex challenges and needs. This position works closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to support reintegration pathways for residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and leadership to staff. The duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Work as part of a team with a strong operation goal to achieve program outcomes.
- Provide advice, support, and information to senior management
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding pathways for residents
- Oversee the workload of a team of staff and provide leadership, mentoring and guidance.
- Ensure the effective and quality case management of residents in the Centre.
- Arrange resident support, programs and counselling services as required.
What we're looking for
- Formal post-secondary educational qualifications and/or experience in welfare related work or social science environment, or significant
experience gained by working in similar related areas is highly desired.
- Leadership skills and experience
- High level experience in case management
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one within 3 months of employment with Corrective Services NSW
- Current driver's license and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
- Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
- A willingness to be on call on weekends and evenings as required
