What You Will Be Doing
As an integral part of Peninsula Health's Respiratory Protection Program, the Respirator Fit Tester will conduct quantitative fit testing for all Peninsula Health staff members that may be required to use P2/N95 respirators.
The Respiratory Protection Program operates on a 7 day rotating roster, both AM and PM shifts. We are seeking candidates with availability and flexibility across these days and shifts. This role is based across all Peninsula Health sites (major sites include Frankston Hospital, Rosebud Hospital, and The Mornington Centre).
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Experience in a clinical hospital setting
- Ability to understand and apply policies, procedures and protocols at the highest level.
- Work in accordance with all relevant Occupational health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control, and Respiratory Protection Program procedures and requirements.
- Ability to support and educate staff.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience in use of Microsoft Teams.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have experience in a clinical hospital setting?
Essential: Do you have the ability to understand and apply policies, procedures and protocols at the highest level?
Essential: Do you have excellent knowledge base of Outlook, Microsoft operating suites - including MS Teams?
Essential: Do you have the ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, both AM and PM shifts across multiple Peninsula Health sites?
Essential: Do you have the ability to support and educate staff on correct fit checking, donning and doffing procedures when using an N95 respirator?
