We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional dining experience for customers.
- Manage restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement business strategies for the restaurant to enhance profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all restaurant activities.
- Manage inventory including ordering, stock control, and cost management.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and the local community.
- Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the restaurant and prepare budgets.
- Address customer complaints and issues, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Organize special events and promotional activities to enhance restaurant visibility and appeal.
- Update and maintain restaurant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to maintain food quality and presentation.
- Stay informed about market trends and implement innovative ideas for service improvement.
- Monitor dining room, kitchen, and staff appearance to ensure a professional atmosphere.
Applicant Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience in a large-scale Restaurant.
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Asian Cuisine, understanding its unique characteristics and culinary traditions.
- Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of achieving operational excellence, staff management, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in inventory management, financial budgeting, and cost control in a restaurant setting.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance restaurant profitability and customer experience.
