An opportunity has become available for a passionate and experienced full time Restaurant Manager at Lamont's in Smith's Beach.
We need a talented, experienced hospitality focussed individual with food and wine knowledge, a proven passion for customer service and an ability to work with and train inexperienced staff.
We serve breakfast and dinner daily and lunch service on weekends, host corporate events and weddings so work is across service times and days and include split shifts.
Main duties to be performed:
- Coordinate and control daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Maintain records of inventory and production
- Organise and supervise shifts, as well as manage rosters and staff timetables
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and restaurant procedures
- Supervisory experience
- A passion for customer service
- A “roll your sleeves up” attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends and split shifts
- Own accommodation and transport required
- Somebody that can think on their feet and has previous team leadership experience
- A motivated team player with a keen interest to inspire others to learn and develop
- Have a minimum of 2 years of cafe/ restaurant management experience
Salary: $70,000
