Based in our head office in Summer Hill, UBS currently operates from Wollongong / Batemans Bay, Goulburn, Sydney Metro through to Newcastle, Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay. UBS is in the process of expanding further into ACT and SE Queensland in the next 3-6 months.
The Opportunity
With our continued growth within our company, we are currently seeking a Restoration / Makesafe Project Manager to join our Make safe and Restoration team in Sydney. In this role you will be an integral member of the UBS team reporting to the Make safe and Restoration Operations Manager. Together with the Make safe and Restoration team you will be managing the full lifecycle of various make safe projects.
The Role
As the Restoration / Makesafe Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and take on various responsibilities which include:
- Managing Makesafe and Restoration projects; completing site inspections, make safes and emergency restoration work.
- Quoting and estimating restoration works, large loss restoration projects including providing advice on works required to complete the makesafe and restoration works.
- Working closely with UBS clients, administration team, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients and customers.
- Ensuring all projects are completed to UBS's high standards.
- Carrying out Makesafe / Restoration works and provide additional support for the construction team when required.
- Able to work flexibly to service clients after hours and on weekends when required.
About You
- Qualification in Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certificate (IICRC) or similar is essential.
- Industry background and experience within the Restoration or Insurance Building Industry.
- Proven experience in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical with excellent report writing, ability to get into the finer details but also articulate the vision when communicating with clients and contractors.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate to Advanced level of computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and various CRM software (Prime / Endata).
- Strategic thinking and ability to align projects with organisational goals.
- Valid Australian drivers license, White Card and WWCC (Working with Children) is essential.
- High Risk Work Licence (WP) and Operate Elevating Work Platform EWPA Yellow Card is desirable but not essential.
