About the role:
Your responsibilities at Floormaster will include providing in-store customer service, sales, cash handling, restocking merchandise, and keeping the store clean and well-organised. You will work to meet customer needs and handle customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. You need to contribute to the store’s overall goals by promoting products and staying up to date with product knowledge to deliver accurate information to customers.
Further tasks include:
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the store
- Answering phone enquiries and taking phone orders
- Prepare quotes and orders
- Adhere to administrative requirements
- Point of sale administration
- Database management
- Keep the store clean and tidy, including restocking items, checking inventory levels, and organising merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What you will need:
- Personal C-class driving licence with the ability to operate manual cars and vans.
- Flexible to work across our three store locations (Edwardstown, Elizabeth) while being mainly stationed at our main store in Greenacres
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge base of cleaning and cleaning merchandise
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Exceptional communication skills

Who we are looking for:
You will have a genuine interest in assisting others, with knowledge and experience in the cleaning industry. You will be able to be flexible in your approach to the tasks that you will be doing each day. Your previous experience may include being a cleaner, or in sales of cleaning merchandise. The successful candidate will have the capacity to lift heavy items (e.g. 15-litre drums of chemicals) and adhere to WHS requirements.

- Highly organised with great time management skills
- Motivated with a great eye for detail
- Ability to prioritise work load and work well under pressure
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- A strong commitment to WHS policies and procedures
- The ability to lift heavy items
- Flexibility and willingness to work across all three stores
- Be willing to assist in other areas of the store when needed
- Computer and data entry skills
