Retail Assistant

Recycle Warehouse Geelong is on the hunt for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to become a vital part of our team. If you've got a knack for customer service and a passion for sustainability, you're just the kind of person we're searching for!

We are a sustainable retail store that stock a huge collection of second-hand, retro, and vintage furniture as well as homewares, and white goods. Our goal is to encourage customers to shop sustainably while closing the landfill loop.

As a Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and representing our brand. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for welcoming and providing a fantastic sales experience to all customers from the moment they enter the store. You will also be responsible for helping keep the store clean and tidy as well as general stock duties. 

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in retail and customer service
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Great initiative and a can-do attitude
• The capability to lift and move furnishings in and out of displays with ease and correct handling techniques.
• Experience or passion for vintage, mid-century, and retro furniture is an advantage
