Daily responsibilities include:
- Methodically and accurately cutting and preparing meat and meat products to the highest standard.
- Ensure the daily set up of the meat display and preparation of meat cuts for the a la carte menu.
- Providing genuine professional service to all customers.
- Stock rotation and product consistency.
- Completing all jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Daily assessment of stock levels and wastage management.
- Adherence to and assistance with daily and ongoing cleaning and maintenance.
- Engaging in product knowledge training and development.
- Daily opening and closing procedures.
In order to be successful, you will have:
- Proven previous butchery experience, recently qualified or highly experienced both suitable.
- Genuine enthusiasm and interest in the craft of butchery.
- Confident and willing to provide customer service.
- Proven reliability and dependability.
- Team minded approach.
- Available to work a rotating roster including weekend shifts.
