Retail Buyer

Pisconeri Wholesalers are importers of gourmet produce and supply the food service industry of Western Australia. Located in Mt. Hawthorn, Pisconeri Wholesalers stocks thousands of product lines sourced by our buyers who travel extensively to find new and innovative products of the finest quality.

We are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Retail Buyer to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities

·       planning, managing, selecting and purchasing goods and merchandise;

·       liaising with existing suppliers and negotiating contracts;

·       building relations with new suppliers;

·       monitor market changes, competitor prices and products;

·       perform consumer research to determine product demand;

·       keeping an accurate stock record;

·       managing the pricing and promotional strategies. Skills required:

·       Good time-management skills

·       Great interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements

·       The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience.

·       A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.

Position: Full Time

Salary: $70,000 – 75,000
