Retail Compliance & Quality Officer
- Based in Bentley, 18 months Maximum-Term, Full Time.

We are searching for an experienced Retail Quality & Compliance Officer, to reflect regulatory obligations, ensure compliance to processes and procedures and assist with the improvement of the customer experience in the delivery of customer services within Horizon Power.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, your new role will include:
- Overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies within the Customer and Community division.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of Customer services delivery and outcomes are achieved especially n respect to adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Support the improvement of customer service processes, systems and procedure to address quality outcomes, compliance issues and audit findings.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities and collaborate with relevant departments to implement proactive measures for risk mitigation.
- Assist in the investigation of service quality (in conjunction with complaints team) and compliance issues, breaches, or near misses and recommend corrective actions and preventive measures to address identified problems.
- Working closely with our Regionally based Customer and Community team to provide ongoing guidance, education and assistance with quality and compliance related matters.
- Demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the energy or utility industry.
- Knowledge of best practices in compliance program development and management.
- Understanding of government trading enterprises, governance and retail service delivery in utilities.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Compliance and Risk Management, or related discipline is desirable.
