Retail Head Butcher

Hagen's are searching for a passionate and skilled Butcher, keen to take on a lead role in store and be the Head Butcher at our Beaumaris location. This role will be responsible for: Cutting, grinding and preparing meats and meat products for sale. Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.

Ensuring displays are enticing and signage is accurate. Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. Performing quality inspections on meats and other products to uphold our high-quality standards.

Adhering to food safety and hygiene procedures. Greeting and speaking to customers to determine their needs, providing advice on cuts of meat and preparation methods and accepting orders or payments. Contributing to a great team experience in store and helping to create exceptional customer service.

Key Requirements: Must be a qualified butcher with at least 2-3 years’ experience. Have prior customer service experience and genuinely enjoys interacting and helping customers Previous experience leading teams or running butcher shops is a bonus. A positive attitude that is open to trying new things and embracing change.
