With a passion for creating delicious, artisanal gelato and providing exceptional customer experiences, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed.
Position Overview:
As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our gelato shops' daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning while delivering outstanding customer service. You will lead and motivate our team to maintain high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing marketing initiatives to promote our brand and increase sales.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of both gelato shops, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Monitor and maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Collaborate with the owners to develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Knowledge of inventory management and basic accounting principles.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Food safety certification (e.g., Food Handler's Certificate) is desirable but not essential.
