About the role

As a Retail Operations Officer, you'll proudly provide a customer experience that is second to none in our Retail Operations team behind the scenes. 

We are a highly successful, values-based, customer-owned credit union seeking to recruit customer-service champions who share our values of superior service, honesty, integrity and financial prudence.

Working directly to support our Retail network, you will play a crucial role in Police Credit Union’s overall success. We know that work/life balance is important, so we offer stable hours of Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. 

The Retail Operations Officer will be responsible for:

  • Processing transactions and responding to member enquiries and disputes in line with policy
  • Monitoring card renewals and ensuring member access channels are functional
  • Primary point of contact for Deceased Memberships & Estates
  • Compliance with Police Credit Union policies, procedures and guidelines

We are looking for:

  • Administration and Customer Service experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Enjoyment from working as part of a cohesive team

If you have a background in the Australian financial services or insurance sectors – even better! FSRA Tier 2 accreditation is a huge tick, however is not a deal breaker, as we will provide on the job training.
