We're on the lookout for a passionate Sales Associate to join our bicycle shop team at Cycle Co-op Belconnen or Woden (Full Time or Part Time). Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting bicycles, accessories, and gear based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers regarding features, benefits, and usage.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous Retail Sales experience, preferably in a bicycle shop or related industry.
- Passion for cycling and a strong understanding of bicycle types, components, and brands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Some mechanical experience will be helpful.
