ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a full time Retail Sales Assistant (CPAP Clinical Consultant), located at our Hobart office.
Whilst experience is highly regarded, no experience is necessary as full and comprehensive training is provided!
The role would ideally suit an individual with strong interpersonal and sales skills, ability to easily connect with people, a ‘can do’ approach and have a passion for the healthcare industry.Your primary responsibility will be to provide patient care through consulting/educating patients in person and over the phone on the use of their CPAP machine, provide CPAP set-up and ongoing servicing according to a physicians prescription, ordering and unpacking of stock and sterilising equipment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Handling general patient enquiries;
- Education of clients on how to use their CPAP machine
- Providing machine set up, fitting face masks to ensure proper fit, download of CPAP machine data
- Contacting referring physicians to ensure appropriate products and services are provided to patients;
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining of equipment;
- Managing the stock levels; and general clinic administration activities;
- Processing online orders, basic invoicing and organise general filing.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Well presented professional who has experience or a desire to work in healthcare
- Whilst Pharmacy, CPAP, Optometry, Audiology and other healthcare retail experience preferred, it is not necessary! Attitude is more important - we are happy and willing to train the right person.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport

- A passion for excellent customer service
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft package
