Pet City Mt Gravatt is seeking dedicated and passionate Team Members across the store. Your previous knowledge and experience will be viewed favourably, but your passion will get you over the line. 

Customer Service and Online Sales:

• Our online department is virtual replica of our brick-and-mortar store
• Previous pick or pack/e-commerce experience would be beneficial
• Previous POS experience would be advantageous
• Strong customer service skills for online and instore customer is a must

Warehouse: 

• Inventory control experience would suit our warehouse
• Forklift licence would be advantageous

Aquarium: 

• As a full aquarium department consisting of marine and freshwater, your knowledge of either areas would be required
• Previous personal experience in fish keeping is a must

Small Animals: 

• Our department includes dogs, cats, rats, mice and guinea pigs
• Previous personal/professional experience in any area will be beneficial

Bird & Reptile:

• With a full department covering birds and reptiles, our department consists of a huge variety of licenced and unlicenced pets
• Animal husbandry skills and strong animal knowledge in either area is a must

• Previous work experience in a retail environment
• Previous work experience in the pet industry
• POS skills should be highlighted and will be viewed well
• Managerial skills will assist in leading you towards a supervisor role
• Honed skills and knowledge in a particular pet field will be advantageous for specific departments ie: Marine knowledge, Dog knowledge, Reptile knowledge.

We are open 7 days a week and late-night Thursday.  Your hours would be across a 5-day work week at 38 hours & would include weekend work.  There are casual positions also available across the store.
