About the Role:
Our business is seeking a full-time salesperson who will be a professional in their role, someone who can excel at meeting sales targets, whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience every time. We are interested in speaking with those candidates who can truly deliver on our expectations and someone who is looking for a long term and stable position. The position offered is full time hourly rate, and commission package. We are seeking a candidate to sell across all categories within our store.
Personal Attributes:
- Previous proven experience in customer service and sales is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills.
- Confident with technology / computers
- Experience with conflict resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Confident, energetic and excellent personal presentation
- Attentive to detail and excellent record keeping skills.
- Retail has a broad range of working hours and people will need to be flexible in their working hours to ensure a high level of service is always provided. This will involve working Saturday’s and some public holidays and the odd Sunday leading up to Christmas.
Main duties / Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with the right product solution to suit their needs.
- Attend regular store meetings and sales and product training.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Achieve individual sales targets as set by management.
- Merchandising and cleaning
- Contribute to team meetings.
- Work well as a team to achieve store goals.
- Follow up customer orders and quotes.
- Regular stocktakes
- Processing of sales through POS system and cash handling
